Bulletin Group 3 - Temperatures

  • Too Cold
  • Too Hot
  • Not Enough Hot Water - Gas
  • Not Enough Hot Water - Electric
Symptoms
  • Thermostat not satisfying or activating at the set temperature
  • Grounded element (electric models only)
  • Cracked, missing, and short dip tube
  • Thermostat differential is too large
  • Inappropriate thermostat setting
  • Slow leak in piping
  • Stratification of water temperatures in the tank

Bulletin Group 4 - Premature Failure

  • Tank has pin hole leak
  • Thermal Expansion
